It started with a little girl and a blank page.
Before my daughter Petra could write her own name, she was already making things.
Crayon drawings left on the kitchen table at 7am. Paper folded and cut into shapes no one could name but everyone could feel. Glue on her fingers. Paint on her chin. And the kind of joy on her face that you only see in children who are completely, utterly in their element.
Art was never a hobby for Petra — it was her language. When she was happy, she drew suns. Big, bright, messy suns with too many rays. When she was quiet and thinking, she made collages out of whatever she could find — receipts, wrapping paper, old magazine pages. When she wanted to say something she didn’t have words for yet, she picked up a pencil and showed you.
I would watch her create — no hesitation, no self-doubt, no asking whether it was “good enough” — and I’d feel something shift in my chest. Because somewhere between growing up and growing busy, most of us lose that. We stop making things. We tell ourselves we’re not artistic, not creative, not the type.
What if you had the right tools to try?
What if you had the right tools to try?
because printing is at the heart of what we do.
Artsy
because creativity is for everyone, not just "artists".
Pretty
because beautiful tools make beautiful things.
